Re: General Chatter
I love winter. I love dressing for winter. I love going out in winter.
Bam Bam, you never answered a vital question last night: do you have date undies?

Re: General Chatter
Where is everybody? I'm freaking out at home with deadlines approaching. Working at home is all fine and dandy until THAT happens. If I manage to not have to finish at 2am, will people hang out with me tonight? I have milk in my fridge.
Re: General Chatter
I love looming deadlines. The pressure, the panic, the ever increasing chance of failure with each passing hour....delicious.
I'm at work. I thought I should probably do some work today. It hasn't panned out. I was 20 minutes late, then spent 30 minutes going down the street to get coffee (I got coffees for everyone else, too, so they would all forget my tardiness and think I'm wonderful), and now I'm just arsing around on the computer, wikipedia-ing it up. And doing some work every now and then; I've found that if I crank out amazing articles a couple of times a week, people generally dismiss my low productivity.
Gah. And I feel that Luke should know that I had a very sore throat this morning. Bambi breathes all over Simon, but I'm the one who gets sick. Damn you, universe.

Re: General Chatter
Thank you for sharing these aspects of your day. I love reading the slights and nuances of my friends' lives.
Lease, so long as people think you're doing a good job, what else do you need? Motivation I guess... The deadlines help that. And getting paid.
I have a new set up at my place. The Green Rabbit Hole has moved from the city to Heller. Check it out:
Sexy. I feel large and in charge. I can capture footage on the beast to the right and talk to people on my old macG4 on the left.
My day started with some serious catching up on emails, budgets and production schedules. Once I'd nailed that, I had breakfast at noon, then set up the computer and started capturing. Now it's all automated, so I'm comfortably doing paper work and downloading Weezer albums. Maladroit owns.
So you're sick lease? For real? You caught the fever? I have a prescription...

Re: General Chatter
I'm glad the minutiae of my life are of interest. It can't hurt to know that I went to Flagstaff Gardens for lunch, and watched Seinfeld on my laptop. On the walk there, I listened to Bruce Springsteen, because it's just that kind of day.
The new setup looks very snazzy and conducive to brilliance. It seems like it has a good flow. Mind you, I don't think it's very good Feng Shui to have a computer in your bedroom. But that's hippie bullshit, so who cares. Maladroit is a great word.
I'm not super sick. My throat's a bit sore, and there's the hint of a sniffle on the horizon. I'm just being pathetic. And I don't think I want any part of your prescription, young man......Actually, it's not fair to just assume you're being dirty. But I'll do it anyway.

Re: General Chatter
I left it deliberately open, knowing it could be taken dirtily, but the most commonplace prescription for a fever one might go to in this pop-culture laden day of age is More Cowbell.
And no, it doesn't hurt at all to know you watched the Sein in the park, that is beautiful (that for the instead of which for who... am i right?). And I get the feeling everyday is a Springstein day for you Lisa.

Re: General Chatter
What can I say? I loves the Bruce.
Relative pronouns are tricky. Something about restrictive clauses and the's and who's. I've spent the last hour trying to explain dependent clauses to people. My brain is grammared out.
More Cowbell is hilarious. Christopher Walken may be one of my favourite SNL hosts.

He's a wild man and his dancing is king. You've seen it. I know you have. Oo! Clauses. Explain that to me!
I love grammar and parsing, but i was never taught it as fully as I might like. I wish I'd gone through the sort of English schooling Stephen Fry did. Sean's been teaching me simple parsing, but seem like a much better expert. I'd love to receive these grammar things you send out at work...

Re: General Chatter
Fo shiz. And when Will Ferrell played cowbell with Queens of the Stone Age, I nearly cried, it was so awesome.
Check yo' emails....you should have some extremely lightweight grammar reading to do.

Re: General Chatter
Oh that was tremendous. Was it we saying that when SNL is good, it's great and when it's bad it's terrible? Also, double plus good, did you watch the YouTube clip I sent'cha?
Re: General Chatter
I don't think we've discussed SNL in depth, but I definitely concur with the sentiment.
I haven't watched it yet. I swear, I'll watch it tonight; if I don't, you can give me paper cuts next time I see you. Or make me listen to a Miley Cyrus album. Preferably the paper cuts, though.

Re: General Chatter
WHAT'S GOING ON HERE? I've been out ALL day running errands, and I come home to find that you two have been sitting here all day chatting?
I ran into a workmate and we smashed a couple of jugs of this interesting New Zealand beer, and I'd be lying if I wasn't slightly intoxicated. I insist we all get together later, discuss our days in even more depth, and drink (milk or otherwise).
By the way, Lisa, I think I'm already starting to get sick of these Mini Weets. I've had about 6 bowls since last night. That's my problem, I wear thngs out way before they need to be.

Re: General Chatter
Yup, yup. I swore I'd do work today, and I really, really haven't. Whoops.
So your 'running errands' was more like drinking in the middle of the day? Poor Luke.
edit: Stop eating bloody mini wheats. You got the plain, boring ones. How good can they be?

Don't diss my cereal. I think I'm just trying to convince myself it's good. But the strawberries and banana have been giving it that much needed X factor.

Dude, Sylar ruled. How rad was it when he slowly drew up the shards of glass and then sent them flying out everywhere? FUCKED PETRELLI! I never saw season 2 though...
